ASIS International South Africa Chapter

ASIS International is a global community of security practitioners, each of whom has a role in the protection of assets – people, property, and/or information. The ASIS International South Africa Chapter is one of the more than 240 chapters of ASIS International which has over 35,000 security professionals as members worldwide.

Our members represent virtually every industry in the public and private sectors, and organisations of all sizes. From entry-level managers to CSOs to CEOs, from security veterans to consultants and those transitioning from law enforcement or the military, the ASIS community is global and diverse.

No other organisation possesses a vast array of knowledge, expertise, and experience.

Membership

Become an ASIS member

Membership to ASIS International and its South Africa Chapter is open to security professionals that are willing to abide by the ASIS bylaws and code of ethics.

ASIS International is a non-profit professional association. It is an organization of individual members. ASIS does not offer corporate memberships.

When you are accepted as a member of the South Africa Chapter you will automatically also become a member of ASIS International. The ASIS International membership fee is US$ 195 per year plus a one-time US$20 application fee.

For students, we have a special membership with substantially reduced fees. To qualify for student membership, you must be a full-time student actively pursuing a security-related degree. Please contact ASIS South Africa for more information.
